Brazilian Walnut (Ipe)

These photos show the beauty of a custom install of Ipe and the quality of Top Shelf's Craftmanship. The maple woodwork in this photo had to be removed, then the old flooring taken out, the new installed and the maple woodwork put back into place. We think it looks great. The customers did as well. Ipe is yet another hardwood with which Top Shelf is accustomed to working. In Fact it is the hardest wood available as flooring in the United States. It also presents some challenges in terms of sandability and adhesion of finish. But as you can see, Top shelf is up to the task.

Now that is a smooth finish.
